Scott S. Wakefield

Scott Wakefield brings to his clients a wealth of knowledge gained from his time working for several governmental entities. Scott served for 10 years as Chief Counsel at the State of Arizon'as Residential Utility Consumer Office. Prior to that, he was with the Arizona Corporation Commission in its Securities Division and served as a hearing officer there.

In addition to his work in regulatory and utilities matters, Scott assists financial institutions with their numerous transactions including loan documentation, workouts, and securities issues.

Scott regularly works with non-profit organizations, helping them to review their organizational structures for potential risks, with an eye toward receiving tax deductible contributions and grants.

Scott earned his J.D. , cum laude, from Arizona State University College of Law, and his Bachelor's in Accounting, magna cum laude, from Arizona State University.

Volunteering with StreetLightUSA is important to Scott. This organization strives to help victims of child sex trafficking and sexual trauma.
